Google +1 button
Google +1 is an option that allows users to vote the results that they find most useful. Its use is very simple, consisting in pressing a button located on the right of the page title. This button is available in the search engine, but also in websites or blogs, and is similar to Facebook «I Like» button.
Perhaps the service offered by Google was the most expected thing in terms of SEO, because of rumors like that it would influence the search engines, and therefore the site relevance.
Like any change that Google makes, this new functionality will influence how your blog or website benefits from organic traffic. There are implications both good and less good for all bloggers.
However, you should be prepared for what lies ahead, especially that these effects will be seen in 6-12 months.
Google +1 plans to allow users to intervene in the validation or invalidation of results, so these to be no longer a simply result of an algorithm but a result that can be also influenced by users.
Obviously, Google +1 is not a social network, but it is a voting system that will allow Google to get an idea of what users like or dislike.
